CIVIL Case Inquiry Instructions

If you are looking for a case that was filed in the Civil Division from June, 1985 through August 19, 2004, you may search by name on the old Civil Index/Calendar website . Once you find the case number that you are looking for, you may then find specific information about that case by clicking on the Court's link to Open Access for Civil. If you are looking for a case that was filed after June 20 , 2004, you will be able to look it up by party name in the Open Access program . When you look up a case on Open Access you will need the case number and the case type.
